Triangles and circles are the most structurally efficient shapes in nature. Engineers use them in bridges, aircraft, and skyscrapers because they distribute force evenly and resist deformation. Ashdon founder Ronnie Pritchett asked a simple question: what if a putter was built the same way?
THE TRIANGLE
The only geometric shape that cannot be distorted without changing the length of its sides. When we use triangular geometry to connect the shaft to the putter head, we create a connection that physically cannot twist — eliminating the root cause of most missed putts.
THE CIRCLE
Circular geometry distributes mass symmetrically around a central point, maximizing MOI (moment of inertia) in every direction simultaneously. More perimeter weight equals a wider sweet spot, more forgiveness, and more consistent distance control — even on off-center hits.
Why Triangles and Circles Change Everything
The strongest forms of stability in the world are triangles and circles. In 1974, Howard Head figured this out — and invented the oversized tennis racket. Ronnie Pritchett brought that same principle to golf putters, reducing torque by 87% for putts that go exactly where you intend.

Torque Reduction
Traditional putters twist at impact. Ashdon's geometry keeps the face square through the entire stroke — from takeaway to follow-through. Less torque means fewer missed putts to the sides.
Wider Sweet Spot
By distributing mass along the outer edges using triangular geometry, we expand the effective hitting zone dramatically. Even off-center contact rolls truer and travels farther.
Heel-Toe Stability
The triangle is the only shape that cannot be distorted under force. We connect the shaft to the head using this principle — creating a rigid, stable structure that resists twisting in every direction.

Forward Roll
A precisely lofted face — between 2° and 4° — launches the ball into an immediate end-over-end roll. Less skid, more predictable pace, and a truer line from the moment the ball leaves the face.

HOW THE
TECHNOLOGY WORKS
THE TRIANGLE FRAME
At the heart of Ashdon is a triangular connection between the shaft and the putter head. This isn't decoration — it's structural. The triangle eliminates the lever-arm effect that causes twisting in conventional hosel designs.

CIRCULAR MASS DISTRIBUTION
The circular face on every Roundabout putter measures exactly 1.6 inches in height — the same diameter as a golf ball. That's not a coincidence. It means the ball is always visually centered at address, so you never have to guess where contact is being made on the face.
The physics at impact are equally deliberate. When a circular face meets a spherical ball, the geometry prevents bounce entirely. Instead of a glancing blow off a flat surface, the circular face pushes the ball forward — and friction immediately takes over, producing a pure, end-over-end roll from the first moment of contact.
The sight line running across the top of the circle is set at precisely golf ball height. For the first time, a golfer can look directly over the top of the ball at address — not behind it, not beside it — for natural, effortless alignment. Every Roundabout putter is USGA approved and patented.

THE SWEET SPOT ZONE
Traditional putter sweet spots are the size of a penny. Ashdon's geometric architecture creates a zone large enough that even mishits stay on line and on pace. You don't have to find the center — the center finds you.

ENGINEERED FACE INSERT
The insert is precision-milled with a micro-pattern that promotes consistent ball speed across the face. Soft at impact, firm in feedback — you always know exactly what you're feeling without sacrificing distance control.
