PRIVACY
POLICY

Last updated: May 29, 2025

At Ashdon Golf, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it. We've written it in plain language — not legalese — because we believe you should be able to understand what we're doing with your data.

This policy applies to the Ashdon Golf website at ashdongolf.com and any related services we operate. By using our website, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Section 01

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information You Provide

When you place an order, create an account, fill out a contact form, subscribe to our email list, or otherwise interact with our website, you may provide us with personal information including your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, and payment information. Payment card data is processed by our payment processor and is never stored on our servers.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain information about your device and browsing behavior, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, time spent on pages, and links clicked. This information is collected through cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies.

Information From Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third-party sources such as social media platforms, advertising partners, and analytics providers. We use this information to supplement the data we collect directly and to improve our understanding of our customers.

Section 02

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

Order Fulfillment

We use your personal information primarily to process and fulfill your orders, send order confirmations and shipping notifications, handle returns and exchanges, and provide customer support. This processing is necessary for the performance of our contract with you.

Communications

With your consent, we may send you marketing emails about new products, promotions, and content we think you'll find valuable. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly. Transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates) are not subject to opt-out.

Improving Our Services

We use aggregated and anonymized data to analyze how our website is used, identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and improve the overall experience. This includes A/B testing, performance monitoring, and user experience research.

Legal Compliance

We may process your information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, respond to legal requests, enforce our terms of service, and protect the rights, property, and safety of Ashdon Golf, our customers, and others.

Section 03

HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

Service Providers

We share your information with third-party vendors and service providers that perform services on our behalf, including payment processors (Stripe), shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS), email service providers, analytics platforms, and customer support tools. These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only to perform the services we've engaged them for.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

Ashdon Golf does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. Period.

Business Transfers

If Ashdon Golf is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

Section 04

COOKIES & TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

What We Use

Our website uses cookies (small text files stored on your device), web beacons, and similar tracking technologies. We use both session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which remain on your device until deleted or they expire).

Why We Use Them

Cookies serve several purposes: essential cookies enable core website functionality (shopping cart, account login); functional cookies remember your preferences; analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use our site; marketing cookies are used to deliver relevant advertising.

Your Choices

Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our website — for example, you may not be able to add items to your cart or stay logged in. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out tool at optout.aboutads.info.

Section 05

DATA SECURITY

How We Protect Your Information

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These include SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive data, access controls limiting who can view customer information, and regular security assessments.

Payment Security

All payment transactions are processed by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We do not store full credit card numbers, CVVs, or other sensitive payment data on our systems.

Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by applicable law, typically within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach.

Section 06

YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Access and Portability

You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to receive it in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format where technically feasible.

Correction

You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information about you, or complete information that is incomplete.

Deletion

You may request that we delete your personal information. We will honor such requests unless we are required to retain the information for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes (such as outstanding orders or unresolved warranty claims).

Opt-Out of Marketing

You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking 'unsubscribe' in any marketing email, or by emailing privacy@ashdongolf.com. You will continue to receive transactional emails related to orders you have placed.

California Residents (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights. To submit a CCPA request, contact us at privacy@ashdongolf.com.

Section 07

DATA RETENTION

How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Order information is retained for a minimum of seven years for tax and accounting purposes. Account information is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter. Marketing preferences are retained until you opt out.

Section 09

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

Updates

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending you an email notification. Your continued use of our website after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
